Hi! I’m Carlos Ortega. I’m a Realtor for Alpha Real Estate, a married man, and I have two beautiful twin daughters. I was born in East Los Angeles, CA, and later moved to La Mirada, CA. I graduated from John Glenn High School. I went to Cerritos College where I studied Psychology & Art. Afterward, I joined the US Air Force, where I studied Civil Engineering for 4 years. Then I worked as a cabinet maker for many years before becoming a licensed contractor. First as a C-6 (cabinetry & millwork) at O.Z. Cabinets, then added C-5 (framing & drywall) and lastly a B License (General Contractor) at O.Z. Builders.

Looking for new avenues, and opportunities for growth, I studied and applied for a Real Estate license and then became a Realtor. Now I’m working with Alpha Real Estate as a Realtor & Real Estate Investor, while also still running O.Z. Builders.
